Abundance

“Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into.”  ~ Wayne Dyer

This collection is inspired by the beauty of Abundance.

People often associate abundance with things they gain on the outside like wealth, career success, perfect bodies, achieved goals or raving fans. In the works of this collection I approach the abundance from the point of view of its true meaning, which is mindfulness.

Abundance is a feeling first and the best part is that it is accessible to everyone. It’s the connection with our inner being, our souls, our sensitivity and the sensations in our bodies. It is the joy with which we welcome each day. It is the beauty of approaching life with an open heart and how deeply moving is our ability to feel love every day. It’s our generosity when meeting others and how connected we truly are to what they go through. It’s our honesty to ourselves and others,  our vulnerabilities and willingness to embrace with gratitude each experience and to keep all that’s worth preserving.  It is our ability to tune into the present moment, knowing that no matter what happens, no matter what is gained or lost, everything remains transient. It is connecting with life at the point of the creation of each moment lived, and thanking wholeheartedly for it. It is simplicity. It is what we are at the beginning of each day, pure, open, ready to live and feel awake. It starts from within. Life is beautiful.

“Secret garden”

The beauty of gratefulness inspires this piece. We often get fixated with everything we lack rather than being aware of everything we already have. Being grateful, appreciative of what we are and what surrounds us is the best way to reach authentic abundance. We all have our secret garden full of blessings to be grateful about!

“Blooming Happiness”

“Happiness is your nature. It is not wrong to desire it. What is wrong is seeking it outside when it is inside”~ Sri Ramana Maharshi

This piece is inspired by the concept that happiness fuels success, not that success fuels happiness. Being happy is a matter of personal choice. Neuroscience has proven that when we focus on becoming happier, the positive feelings make our brain work better, and we become more creative, more productive and more successful at the end. Happiness is like a growing a garden, and if you take care of it, it will be blooming

“Exuberance I,II,III”

This triptych is inspired by the concept of acting with liveliness and excitement in everything we do. When we act with goodness, generosity and always trying to do the right thing, we find ourselves enjoying life more and experience it to the fullest. A life of peace and joy is not complicated and feels so much better than one of remorse and guilt. Making the right choices you believe in, can unfold the beauty of exuberant life.

“Blossoming Joy I, II, III, IV”

We live in a world where it is considered the norm to celebrate big moments in life. This four minis are inspired by those small moments that often go unnoticed because we either take them for granted or rule them out as insignificant. And when we do so, we miss out on a piece of joy in our lives.

Real life is happening all around us while we are waiting for the big stuff to arrive. The real beauty lies in all the small things that happen along the way. If we make it a habit to celebrate the little everyday things, our days will blossom with joy.
